Santa Monica Animal Shelter. This one is a really sad story waiting for a fairytale ending. Tito was found on the street one day, and the person who found him assumed he was run over. Animal Control brought this dying dog to the hospital, and after running some tests it was found that he didn't have any broken bones, but was dying from a poisoning. The theory is that he ate some snail bait (or similar) and collapsed in the middle of the road. After a month of rehabilitation at the hospital, he's available for adoption, as happy and energetic as possible. It looks like Tito might have some bite marks on the top of his head, and he has a habit of not closing his mouth completely - which means that the tip of his tongue sometimes sticks out as if he's mocking you. Tito is shy at first, but co...

Tito is shy at first, but completely opens up after a little introduction. He's available for adoption immediately. http://www.petharbor.com/pet.asp?uaid=SNMN.A038918

Our first day in Los Angeles. We visit the Santa Monica Pier and the Griffith Observatory. ***SUBSCRIBE (If you want...I can't tell you how to live your life)*** Mike's Twitter https://twitter.com/mikekarschti Mike's Instagram https://instagram.com/mikekarschti Periscope: Mike Karschti Snapchat: mikekarschti We started our day by eating some breakfast from the buffet at the Sheraton Agoura Hills hotel. We slept in a bit after a long day exploring Malibu the prior day. After breakfast we check our and made our way to Burbank. We checked into the Hampton Inn & Suites Los Angeles-Burbank Airport. It was pretty nice. We then made our way to the Santa Monica pier for some site seeing. The Santa Monica Pier is a large double-jointed pier located at the foot of Colorado Avenue in Santa Monica, California and is a prominent, 100-year-old landmark. The pier contains Pacific Park, a family amusement park with its one-of-a-kind, state-of-the-art, solar-paneled Ferris wheel. (This should not be confused with Pacific Ocean Park, a former amusement park a few miles south of Santa Monica Pier, which operated from 1958 to 1967 and is now demolished.) It also has an original carousel hippodrome from the 1920s, the Santa Monica Pier Aquarium operated by Heal the Bay, shops, entertainers, a video arcade, a trapeze school, pubs, and restaurants. The west end of the pier is a popular location for anglers. We had some Mexican food for lunch at Mariasol at the end of the pier. I had the steak, shrimp and chicken fajitas and Nicole had enchiladas. It was quite tasty. It started to rain so we took shelter at the Santa Monica Place mall. We even checked out the Disney store there. And then we got stuck in LA traffic for over an hour... But making it to Griffith Observatory made it all worth it. The sunset up there was beautiful. Griffith Observatory is a facility in Los Angeles, California sitting on the south-facing slope of Mount Hollywood in Los Angeles' Griffith Park. It commands a view of the Los Angeles Basin, including Downtown Los Angeles to the southeast, Hollywood to the south, and the Pacific Ocean to the southwest. The observatory is a popular tourist attraction with an extensive array of space and science-related displays. Since the observatory opened in 1935, admission has been free, in accordance with Griffith's will. The exhibits were really cool. I liked the Tesla Coil. We could have spent more time in there but we were pretty tired and hungry so we hit up In-N-Out Burger. We then made our way back to the hotel and bed. We had another big day ahead of us touring Hollywood, taking a TMZ bus tour and going to a Dr. Drew show at the Hollywood Improv. Thanks for watching! Subscribe if you want to see the next day! I shot this video with a Canon Rebel T2i, GoPro Hero Black Edition and iPhone

Domino was adopted in late September 2010! Congratulations to him and his new owner. More info @ Domino's petfinder page: http://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/16310304 Domino is available for adoption from Santa Monica Animal Services in Santa Monica, California (posted August 4, 2010). Domino is a male rat terrier mix. Domino has a sweet disposition and seems to adore human attention, especially belly rubs. He is extremely well behaved on-leash and I did not notice any pulling at all. As a senior, Domino would fit right in with a relaxed family that is looking for companionship more than athleticism. Domino seems like he would be excellent around children and other pets. Please visit Domino and consider adding him to your family! Domino is up-to-date with routine shots and spayed/neutered.
